CBSE 12th Class Results 2019 are released by Central Board of Secondary Education. Students who appeared for CBSE 12th class examination can get their results from the official website of CBSE and cbseresults.nic.in. The results are declared on 2nd May 2019 at New Delhi.
The total pass percentage in 2019 is 83.4%. The region with the highest pass percentage is Thiruvananthapuram at 98.2%, followed by Chennai at 92.93% and on the third position is Delhi at 91.87%. The percentage of students who passed in international schools is at 95.43%.
The toppers of 2019 are Hansika Shukla (Meerut, Ghaziabad), Karishma Arora (Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh); Gaurangi Chawla from Nirmal Ashram Deepmala Public school Rishikesh reached at the second position.
Like in previous years this year also performed better than boys by 9%. Some 88.70% of girls passed, followed by transgenders at 83.3% and boys at 79.4%.
Kendriya Vidyayala Schools had a pass perentage of 98.54%, Tibetan schools were at 96%, government-aided schools were at 88.49% and private schools were the lowest of the lot at 82.59%.
CBSE conducted the Secondary Examination (10th Class) and Higher Secondary Examination (12th Class) for the academic session year 2018-19 in February-March 2019.
Around 13 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 examination conducted by the CBSE. The results have been announced within 28 days of the last date of the examination. This is a record efficiency in processing the answer papers and tabulating score.
