Goa Board has conducted HSSC exam 2014 from 01 March to 17 March 2014. According to GBSHSE 4193 students from the commerce stream, 3213 from the science stream, 2765 candidates from the arts stream and 2,416 from the vocational stream appeared in the Goa Board HSSC exams 2014. There are 6,374 boys answered the Class 12 exams in 2014, while 6,213 girls appeared for the public exam.

Private candidates appeared for HSSC Examination 2014 can collect their Passing certificate cum statement of Grade/Marks from the office of GBSHSE, Alto Betim Bardez, Goa.

The last date for accepting the applications for revaluation of answer sheet at the office of GBSHSE is 20 May 2014. The verification of marks in presence of parent/guardian will also be done on the same day. For supply of photocopies of answer-books, the last date is 03 June 2014, and the verification of marks in absentia/presentia will be done before 6 June 2014.

In 2013 Goa Board declared the HSSC results on 2nd May 2013. The process of preparing the results is slow down by the interruption with Lok Sabha Elections in the state. This delayed the result in 2014.

The Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) was established on 27 May 1975 under "The Goa, Daman and Diu Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Act, 1975”. The main state board of education in the Indian state of Goa, it is responsible for secondary and higher secondary education management in its affiliated schools. The Goa board is providinghighly qualified faculty for the students of Goa board. The board also providing various best facilities to the students not only in education but also in Sports and they also distributing free mid-day meal for the students of class 1 to 8th.
