Karnataka SSLC Results 2024 Released. Check on karresults.nic.in

Karnataka SSLC Results 2024 was released by Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB)  on 9th May 2024. Karnataka SSLC Exam was counducted from March 25 to April 6, the Karnataka SSLC (Class 10th) exams saw participation from over 8 lakh students across the state. Students can get their results from official website provided by NIC, Karnataka. As many 631204 candidates passed this year, out of total 859967 students appeared for Karnataka SSLC Examiantions. 

The pass percentage is 73.40% which is a drastic fall of 30% as compared to the previous year. About 78 schools across Karnataka record zero per cent results of which three are in Bengaluru. Over 2 lakh students who failed were given grace marks to increase the pass percentage to 73%.

Karnataka  Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa announced that 859967 students have registered for SSLC (class 10) examinations in 2024. Out of these, 4.5 lakh are male and 4.3 lakh are female students, as stated by the Karnataka school education board.

Step 1- First visit the official websites – karresults.nic.in or sslc.karnataka.gov.in – Direct link to results

Step 2- Then enter Register number and Date of Birth

Step 3 – Press submit button

Step 4- The class 10 result 2024 will be displayed on the screen

Step 5- Download the KSEAB Result 2024 and take a printout for future reference.

Karnataka SSLC Result 2024 Statistics

A total of 493900 students from urban areas took the class 10 final exams. Out of them, 359703 have passed. The pass percentage for students in urban areas is recorded at 72.83 percent. In rural areas, 366067 students appeared in the exam. Of these, 271501, or 74.17 percent have cleared it.

Karnataka SSLC 2024 Grading System

The Karnataka Board follows a grading system, with A+ as the highest grade awarded to a student. The grading system is explained below:

• 91-100 Marks = A+ grade
• 81-90 Marks = A grade
• 71-80 marks = B+ grade
• 61-60 marks = B grade
• 51-60 marks – C+ grade
• 35-50 marks = C grade

Karnataka SSLC Number of Students Over the Years

Karnataka SSLC sees an average of 8 lakh students every year. In 2023, 8,35,102 students appeared for the exam. In 2022, the board announced that 8,53,436 students appeared for the exam. The numbers dipped low in 2017, when 7,64,950 students appeared for their Class 10 Karnataka Board Exams. In 2021, as many as 8,71,443 students appeared, out of which, all were declared successful. Karnataka Board SSLC Exams Pass Percentage

The Karnataka board SSLC Exams record a pass percentage of around 70% almost every year. In 2023, the overall pass percentage is 83.89%. In 2022, 85.63% of the students passed the board exams, which is the highest recorded pass percentage. 145 students scored 625/625 marks. This year too, the number of girls that passed is higher than the number of boys at 90.29%.  81.30% of the boys who wrote the SSLC (Class 10) exams have passed.
